Engine Swap Question

Ok I have both a 1998 and a 2002 base model Camaro's with the 3.8L V6's. The 2002 I am just finishing up putting a new/rebuilt crate motor in it but for the 1998 I have the chance to get the V6 from a 2010 Camaro has anybody put one of these newer model V6's into these year model Camaro's?

I'm sure it could be done if you have enough time on your hands and a huge budget. lol. I watched some fellas on youtube from the motortrend channel put a hellcat engine in a 68 charger. So with a big enough budget skies the limit i guess.

As a general rule anyone that has to ask "How" to do it does not have to back ground to do it. Swaps like this take a lot of fabrication and a lot of knowledge of how every system in the car works.

the 2002 crate engine what is it ,a 3.8l ,why not just get another crate in the 98 as well ,alot less cost an the engines are so available too,i would not mess around with a swap in the base unless your talking lsx engine like 5.3l can be done

Wow, there always is a first. I've never heard of someone wanting to transplant a newer V6 into a 4th gen. Do you mind if i ask why you are contemplating such a feat when the LS's are so plentiful, powerful and better sounding with minimal fuel mileage concerns?
