I'd say 290 rwhp w/ the mods

LS1's were under-rated, highest I've seen to an accurate TOP flywheel hp is 345

17% parasitic loss, a little less than that w/ a manual, a little more w/ an auto. 345 w/ the 15% is 293rwhp...that is with the generous 345hp

drive train loss? you think I'm gonna lose hp with these mods? I've noticed a clear gain in throttle response and overall performance since the mods. I'm gonna get the dyno after the slp lid and smooth bellows. As you can tell I'm concentrating on keeping the engine as cool as possible. I'd also like to get the 160 degree thermostat too

RWHP as in REAR WHEEL HORSEPOWER

that is what Dyno's measure, not FLYWHEEL HORSEPOWER which is what the factory rates horsepower at

Do some homework

sorry I really don't know a whole lot about all this which is why I registered to this website. I apologize if I sounded ignorant. So what is the difference on the road between rwhp and fwhp? which one do I want more of? I'm kinda confused. yes, I need hp 101 lol The only racing I do is street racing and thats not very often

Next time don't be ignorant unless you know your **** (don't worry, it comes with the LS1 lol)

Anyways, FWHP is for front wheel drive cars, you don't have any, only ricers are conserned about FWHP lol

You and all other RWD cars RWHP, this is what you want.

People generally over-estimate how much hp this and that adds, something that might add 5hp, won't get that full 5 hp to the wheels

Aluminum Driveshafts can free up some parasictic loss, underdrive pulley, etc

Also, bolt-ons add rwhp, just not as much as some people say, they do help
