X pipe? Are you going with a custom setup of true duals? 4th gens have y pipes.

I'd suggest doing the install yourself, headers are just time consuming but not that hard, and can be done on jackstands. I'd estimate a shop to charge you at least $500. Estimate it might take them 6-7 hours to do the install.

Speed Inc. charges $275 install for just the LT Headers/Y-Pipe install. Additionally, a basic tune for $399 or full dyno tune for $499. Not sure about the rest of the exhaust install cost...

I would go for it yourself if you are handy, and have plenty of time.

to install the headers and exhaust your looking at the cost of a good cat back exhaust. i suggest you look at slp or corsa. maybe borla or magnaflow. cost of exhaust will range depending on quality, your cost to have someone do it and provide the exhaust may run as much as 2500 bucks. as little as 700.
