alot do, but you need to ask a specific question. do you want to know how to read a cam? what ur engine can take? appropriate sizes for your mods?

Please be more specific, what are your mods? auto or 6 speed? daily driver or weekend fun car. You can't just ask "what is best for my car" without telling us these things.

Unless you have really detailed specific questions ("I have such and such a modified motor . . . how big a cam should I use if I go with AFR's big-port heads instead of their smaller ports?") and have a lot of background yourself on this, my overall advice on heads and cams is: Call a reputable aftermarket supplier (SLP comes to mind, but there are others), talk with them about your car, your budget, and what you want, and buy the combination they recommend.

Texas Speed, LG Motorsports and Speed Inc are companies that I would call.

Always give specifics!

Like for my 1969 Chevrolet Nova, It has a 327 bored 0.060" over, high compression (10.5:1) forged pistons, and currently has a 292 cam. I love the 292 cam for this engine... I can literally count off the strokes on idle.

Hey I am new here and i have the same question. I have a 96 v6, but i just bought an 02 Z28 and i don't know what i should do first. I will do a full exhaust, but i want to do a cam after that. it is a stock 5.7L and i want to know what would give me the best performance, but still be ok for my daily drive. o and if i do stuff wrong im sorry. i have never been on a form before.
