It wouldn't be too hard for me get a z28 hood and do the work on it, and it wouldn't cost me much down here either.seems like i'm gonna have someone do a photoshoped pic of my camaro with the turbo sticking out.
I'm a big fan of 6LE. Quality stuff, i'm planning on ordering his carbon fiber targa top, and dual center exhaust tips.

honestly, beyond whether it looks cool or not, keep in mind your turbo will then be exposed to the elements, having it run through the hood means NO filter, NO maf sensor ie needs to be tuned in speed density and you run the risk of getting caught in the rain, water being sucked into the turbo etc etc

for a street driven car, its just a straight bad idea. For a race car, it make sense, because they don't need air filters or worry about driving in the rain, but you DO need to worry about it while driving down the street. There are plenty of turbo kits out there that you can retain your AC, look into one of those, it will save you plenty of headaches

Like cheeks said, A Turbo sticking out of hood is just a bad idea for a street car! If it's a track car only, you won't have anything to worry about. But it's going to be nothing but headaches as a street/DD car! Even with a filter on the front of it rain will still get in it and majorly F*&^ stuff up! I have already contacted 6LE and asked if they are making a set of holders for the Targa top like Corvettes have. So that I will be able to take the top off and keep it with me and keep it from moving around in the car! They are in the process of making them right now. When they get that done I'm going to get a Black top.
