Hey everyone my buddy just got an '02 SS and its sharp. Its cammed up and i asked what for cam it was, the guy told him it was a chevy hot cam. I tried searching for these cams on the internet to check the prices and were he could have got one and cant find them anywhere?? Also he told me that with these Chevy Hot Cam's there made special so you dont have to change anything in ur engine to make it work right, is that true?

 

that depends. the stock springs cant handle much more than the stock cam, but the hot cam packages typically arent very big. regardless of the swap I would change out springs as well just to be safe.
