whats best combo?

whats the best route in terms of y pipe/headers with a magnaflow catback. are some combonations better than others? need some feedback.

What year/type of car are we talking about here? We could use some more details. Generally speaking a Long Tube header will get you more torque but no more power than a good shorty. Always replace the stock Y pipe with a good mandrel bent one. Other than that, what are we looking at for budget? Do you need to pass emissions? etc.

oh my bad its an LS1 camaro and yea i need to pass emissions. price not really a matter

There's a bigger selection for the LS1 camaros, but I will always and forever recomend Kooks headers/Y pipes since I got mine, amazing quality. I ordered through www.speed-eng.com and they were very good keeping me in the know at all times about my headers, and sometimes they'll run deals on them. Check it out...
