Default straight pipes then...

hello guys I'm kinda new here but not really... anyway I've purchased a camaro back in Dec07 anddidn't do any mods buteliminating the muffler and getting straight pipes... it's sounds pretty nice and I'm willing tp upgrade to get gain more hp... here's the deal, I'm not trying to get too much inside my engine like cams, gears, clutch... etc
something like headers, maf, air intake... etc
so what do you guys suggest and what are some good brands out?

i use pacesetter longtube headers and TSP off road ypipe. you will feel the gains. also get an slp lid or other similar airbox lid.

- u dont need a new maf, if u have LT's and a lid really the next step is just cam or nitrous.

LT = long tube header. there are also mid-length and shorties. LT's are the best

off road = no cats. u can also get high flow catted y-pipe, but they cost more. only get them if u need to pass smog tests.

isn't there a 2500 fine for having no cats?? thats B.S
but anyway I wasn't planning on adding nitrous or cams and any other deep engine mods...
what about a complete air intake? see I'm not trying to go all wild with it
and can you tell how a pully could effect?

pulley isnt really worth it IMO. especially on a street car. cooling is a big thing with thes engines and u dont want to slow down ur water pump.

the fine is for shops performing the removal. to drive a car without cats will only get you a fix-it ticket, as well as an equipment related fine potentially, but that depends on your state. ive been pulled over and i have an ORY, the guy got me for tint.

and do you think a completeair intake and filterwould be a good idea?
