SLP LID

Default SLP LID

please help with what you know. so i just recieved the SLP high flow lid for my v6 '99 camaro..so on the stock air lid, the whole or vent is to the right of the lid, you follow me? i dont what my problem is, but the tubing after the stock air lid does not align with the slp lid because the slp lid has to hole in the middle//did i buy the wrong part? someone please help. and i been tryin to search on this forum for answer but found none...please help..i dont know if this is helpful, hope you can lemme know something though..this is the lid i boughthttp://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=21044&BIG=21044-1
..how come it wont fit?

You bought the v8 (ls1) lid.

It says 'v8' in big bold letters at the top of the picture in the link you just put up.

thats true..so is there no high flow lidfor the v6?? i dont believe that. and when i bought it, it said 1998-1999 f-body high flow lid...wtf[:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]someone direct me..now ima send it back.

I think you can turn your lid into a 'high-flow' lid on your own. All you need to do is get rid of the ribs inside of it, or something. I dunno, I've got an lt1. haha.
