I just ordered the Electric cutouts for my car. My question is where on the exhaust pipe and how far back do I install them? I have installed exhausts before so installing them isn't a problem. Any info would be apreciated. Thanks.

 

what year? what type of exhaust setup? most use them right before the cat's, but ive seen a lot of people put them before-where the exhaust goes over the axel .

 

Its a 69 camaro. I'm replacing the headers and exhaust with a set of hooker headers and flowmaster exhuast. I have seen them installed in a variety of places on the piping. Just need input , I'm installing them and the whole exhaust at the end of the month.

 

Well if you are going to be using them for races, put them right after the headers.

 

I plan on going to the 1/4 mile track. Thanks.
