Won't make much of a difference either way. If you have smog inspection, then you definetely need a working cat.

not to mention with the cat you can be environmentally friendly!

Going from the regular cat to a new highflow, or taking it off should improve power some. The difference between highflow and no cat is nothing really.

High flow cat. Your car's computer will like you better.

You could go with them or with Random Technology, I hear very good things about their highflow cats. I have Magnaflows on my Kooks system, and they work fine as far as I can tell(a full LT header and Y system makes a large difference in power, especially for those of us who have the single cat system). As far as the computer on your car, you don't have any O2 sensors after the cat, so it really doesn't matter to it whether you have the cat or not, but it does matter quite a bit to the emission folks.

if you have a cat back system go for the high flow, bc the cat back is designed to make power/ noise/ whatever behind a cat converter.
