Install on headers is a *****, expect to pay someone a decent amount of $ to do it, it'll take a skilled mechanic who is familiar with the car at least 4 hours if not more. Depending on what they charge for labor, that's going to be costly, I can't give any numbers I paid 'cause I did my own, but I assure you, it won't be cheap.

Why not just go with shorties? They nearly always fit better and you most of the time, won't have to do any customizing. Long tubes can drag, yes but you can get more torque out of them usually. Just they may never fit right and cost a fortune to put in. Positives and negatives to both. From experience, I'd go shorties and not waste the time or money. Spend the rest on something else. Just my input.

If you do decide to go with shorties, get a new mandrel bent Y pipe too, or the shorties will get you nothing.
