Question Modifying Intake Manifold

My intake manifold has a oil spout. Its a 69 or earlier model. I was wondering if i could change it from the old version with the oil spout to the new version with no oil spout, and change old style valve cover to new style valve covers to pour oil into engine from valve covers?

The front oil fill tube was a 1968 and older design. They make a press fit plug that you can tap into the hole and cork it up. Or you can replace the intake manifold with the newer style one. And yes, you can just slap on the newer style valve covers that have the oil fill and vent holes.
