Hey ive been researching the numerous cold air intakes offered for camaros in general but right now im talking about my 94 z28 camaro. I was wondering how much of a difference in performance wise would the High quality K&N cold air intake be versus this cheap ebay CAI ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevy...Q5fAccessories ) I realize the prices are a bit diff its really K&N about $240ish vs Ebay CAI 55ish. I would really appreciate some opinions guys. Thanks a ton.

 

CAI inducton is the same on both, it only works only one way. So my opinion is the E-bay vs K&N is done to the the price & quality. If the E-bay CAI has a return policy I would look at it for the price.

Depends on what you want. For me I was looking for improved gas milage and a little more power. The ebay one is fine. Make sure you get the one that is a true CAI. See my build thread. (Page 7) If you want to drag race and plan on running high RPMs the the KN is a better system. One of our members has a built 3800 and found at the upper RPMs the Ebay intake will restrict air flow.

 

 

post what cai you have, i dont think they make one for the 96 3.8, k&n does not show one
