hooker headers
 

i was looking at hooker competition headers from summit, they are the shorty style and then buying the hooker y pipe also cause it looks really nice and all that, im driving a 305 for everyone who wanted to know, but i heard the hooker headers dont fit good and i should go with headman, but the headman headers look crappy conpared to hooker,

any info on fitment and performance

wow, dunno who told ya that, hooker is by far the best mass produced on the market, only a custom hand bent job is better than a set of hookers, go ceramic coated too when you get em

yeah my hooker headers fit as good as any long tube headers would, and you should have no problem with shorties, ceramic coated is the best i wouldnt be any happier with them

i have hooker header's they are built alot better than the dynomax one's i had before spend the money well worth it.

i went with the hooker 2055's(the y pipe comes with them), the fit is great, but any headers on a thirdgen are a pain to install

I agree 100%. Unfortunately most places don't make a "custom" header for 3rd gen and down cars ("custom" as in Kooks, LG Exhaust(mostly for vettes), Dynatech). Not even Stainless Works, which makes custom headers for some classics makes them for the 3rd gen...Poor Black Sheep of the Camaro world :(
