Getting more cold air through this car.

My 91 TBI needs to breath better through a new air cleaner and out through new exhaust system. I was wondering how to get more cold air to the engine without spending an ungodly amount of money. I was thinking about an open air element, but short of the drag strip, this would be more bad than good due to the hot air being taken into the engine blah blah blah[:@]. So that idea is out for now. Does K&N or anyone make a cold air intake system for the TBI's or anything that you guys have done to achieve this?

Also I was thinking about a Borla 3" cat back system seen below: $759.00. Expensive but worth the sound. Any objections/Suggestions?

Thanks in Advance...

A little overkill. [sm=icon_beat.gif] The Problem is not getting air in or out its what in between the stock LO3 TBI.

True. The Low output engine does lack some 'testicular fortitude". But again it is stock and I will definately have mods after the intake and exhaust system: cams, heads, intake manifold, 2" TBI, lower rear end gears, etc. but the easy mods first[sm=grin.gif]. I read a website that referred to a car as an air pump or a vacuum cleaner; if it gets clogged it looses performance (suction in the vacuum's case) and exhaust is likewise... just something that has made me give the LO3 a second look.

Here it is again found by 92CamaroUK. http://www.goingfaster.com/spo/modthel03.html

I hope you have deep pockets and love that car. Read all you want about the 305's potential the bottom line is HP/TQ on those motors cost a lot of money. And its a poor return vs even a stock 350.
Note: My original motor was a 305TPI and I went with a 350...Good Luck.......[sm=closed.gif]

BUMP
I saw this Custom Cold Air Intake for GMC/Chevy trucks and was wondering if it would fit on my car-- Hood clearance, space issues, correct angles. Do any of you know? If not what kind of Cold Air Intake/Ram Air Systems do you TBI guys have.
This also might help you Celtics Fan depending on if you have TBI or not.

Who's it made by. Because when you get down to it, companys like K & N and other high up companys like that are what really get things flowing the best.

Very True> A large company has their **** together, as for who its made by ... YYP Enterprise, LLC... never heard of them but I already bought one. If it doesn't fit when it comes I'll sell it to my friend who has a 95 Yukon 350 TBI with a single snorkel. OH well we'll see.
