Default Flowmaster muffler

Anybody know how those Flowmaster 4040 series' sound?

pretty nice. but I thought the 80 series was the only one that could fit f-bodie's.

lol.... I am pretty sure that unless you put true duals down the middle the only one you can use is the 80 series. but you can always look into it.

you can't run duals down the center on any car newer than 81. you have to run two pipes down one side and it will cost about 800 bucks just run the 80 series flomasters and if you only want one outlet you can use any muffler u want i had a glasspack on my 85 z28

i have the 40s on my 79 u put them under your seats or as i did much cleaner look and put them on the up sweep where your rear end is but yea the 40s are sweet but if u want to peform to max u need a good flowing pipe not likt a 1,3/4 or dumb crap like that i have 3in witch when i blow past u u know it was me cause i am loud but i also have race headers witch give it an extra pop when u down shift it gets super loud and i wouldent do it near coppes cause they will have it out for u just because u dive a h/pcar well just thought i give u my advice

LOUDER IS BETTER, CAUSE WHEN YOUR GIRL IS WITH YOU AND SHE STARTS BLABING A BUNCH OF CRAP JUST DOWN SHIFT AND LET THE NOISE FLOW. LOL
