New Old Guy
I'm a retired guy who, along with my wife, collect and enjoy cars, trucks and pretty much everything on tires. We are down to 3 Camaros from as many as 8 or 9. . A '69 Z/28RS project, a 70 RS race/street project and a '71 Z/28RS that is close to road ready. We have several other 'non-Camaros' as well. I have owned the '69 since May of '73. Due to a lot of bad luck, damaged parts, thievery and two **** poor paint jobs, it has been under a cover for years. With help and encouragement from my wife and friends, we have pulled it to the front of our shop. We have been taking inventory of what we have and what will be needed to put it back together. I have scheduled my Z to go to Autocraft Custom Collision, here in west Michigan to get a proper paint job. It will not be stock. I have headers and bolt-in frame connectors that will remain. May use stock rims or the set of American Racing CP200s polished aluminum.
As for me and my wife, we are, as I stated, retired. We sold everything except the home we reside in. I work part time for my friend, Eric at Horsepower Innovations where I do carb tear-downs and cleaning to be converted to E85. I also work at Visner Engine Development. Google V.E.D. to see their billet engine blocks, heads, intakes, throttle bodies, fuel rails, burst plates, etc......
