Engine size or torque

I have a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro and I would like to know how I can determine what is the engine size as well as the amount of torque.

Big or small block? Original engine?
Pictures?
If the block hasn't been resurfaced most small blocks will have numbers stamped in the block in front of the passenger side cylinder head.
