What does CGC mean?
 

I've got a 97 camaro v6 auto..... there is a button on the dash that says cgc... what does that mean? i haven't been able to find anything about it...

Haven't heard of a CGC switch, but some V6 came with a SGS, which allowed 2nd gear starts. Just in case the v6 took off too fast in 1st gear, LOL. Why don't you press the switch and see what it does.

lol okay its SGS.. just went to the parking garage and looked.. my bad.. but what does SGS stand for? And i've pressed it and it dont do crap, moving, driving, accelerating and what not.. haha

yeah i just took it for a spin, it doesn't work.. oh well at least i know what its SUPPOSED to do now hahaha

Well in high school for some reason there was rumor going around not to mess with me because I was crazy. I dunno where this got started. But I was checked and diagnosed ABsolutly NORMAL.

lol, my 94 grand prix had a second gear start, its really self explanitory, unless your pulling jet ski's
