vibrateing

Default vibrateing

my 99 v6 camaro vibrates pretty drastically when i hit higher RPMS ... 4-5-6 +..... its wierd and i dunno why its doing this, i put some oil in it today and it seemed to less'n the vibration slightly... do ya'll think i need to do a oil change or something? i think i may have a leak

Are u sure it is not misfiring. Is check engine lite lit?

Don't they have rev limiters on them? Why are you spinning a V6 that high anyway, V6's don't typicaly make power up there.

You would think if they did have a rev limiter it would not go as high as he revs it. Maybe its his rods wanting to free themselves from the evil crankshaft.

i think it might be misfireign, just not noticable till higher rpms

Just because the tach says it'll do 8 grand dosent mean that it should. At any rate, a v6 is just about done making power at 5500 any way. Any higher than that and you're only hurtin the motor.
