Default Spacers?

I heard mixed things about them. Some love them, some hate them. What do you guys think of them? I found some good ones from Eibach.

I've used spacers before. As long as you use the billet ones and not the cast type, I don't see any problem unless you're track racing the car with a monster engine.
For around the same price, I've found hub-centric ones (the best) like you show on ebay for a whole set of four. Search around, because ones I have found before were by the manufacturer here in the U.S. Others may be made in China?

What about the ones I linked, the Eibach ones? They seem like they would work nicely.

The Eibach spacers are $176 for a pair. These custom made Wheel Adapter Spacers are $140 for four.

Sick! Thanks for the link. Last question, are the spaces he makes adjustable so I can move them around to find the right offset for my vehicle, or am I suppose to know the measurements to tell him how I want the rims to sit?

How thick you need depends on the backspacing of your wheels. You'll need to mock-up fit the wheels in place and do some careful measuring. The fronts will be trickier since you'll want to check the turning radius so that you don't drag the inner fenderwell when you go lock-to-lock. When you take your existing wheels off, support the car by the suspension, not the frame to keep a true load on it.

First question!! Why are you using spacers?? Looking for a little more wider look in the back and second question. Don't you need to run longer studs so the lug nut threads in enough to prevent the stud from breaking?

Yeah, right now it looks pretty nasty. Its sitting what seems like 3 inches inside the chassis of the car, and I can't afford rims at the moment. Don't know what else to do, it isn't a permanent mod, just temporary until I can get the rims (sometime at the end of the year). As for the longer studs, I have no clue. I just know I'd have to use longer lugnuts, unless thats what you're talking about and I just made a fool of myself.
