Hows it goin
Well I tell ya the list of stuff I need to ask questioms about is long so I'll pick one for now. I'm picking my way through someone elses project left undone I am starting with the motor and it is a bute 4 bolt 350 that looks new with a Weiand tunnel ram and a Holly carb. Got the beasty to fire up today, puppy sounds tight cool. Now to my question the hi rise manifold puts the kick down de tent cable out of reach what do I need to change the cable or the bracket

[:'(] dont know if i can help much but am interested in a resolution myself. i built this same combo some years ago but used a turbo 400 trans(doesnt use tv,detent,cable) so this wasnt a problem for me. you will have to use something as this trans requires the use of this cable AND PROPER ADJUSTMENT or it wont work right. im not aware of factory or aftermarket extended cables, may exist ive just never seen them. might try contacting holley or lokar(cables, dipsticks etc) they may make or suggest a solution. ill do some research as well and see what i come up with kurt

 

looks like lokar has some but unknown if an extended version is available. mr gasket has a kit for tunnel rams to mount throttle cable in near stock location( may retain tv cable use?) so check that also keep in touch kurt
