Hello kids, my Delco II am fm cd unit gets horrible reception, fm is difficult and am is like it almost doesn't exist.........I figure that most of you have replaced your factory units with aftermarket stuff, but i am trying to keep this car as stock as possible........any suggestions would help.

Make sure the antenna base is properly grounded, the antenna cable in good condition, including the cable connectors. Make sure the the radio chassis is properly grounded. For FM reception the antenna should be around 30", longer or shorter will degrade reception.
