i was working on the car the other day and noticed that the distributor cap was lose i deciede to remove the hole thing to inspect and replace it if need be. my qus. or problems is when itook itout i removed the cap and rotor and cleaned everything i removedthats blackmodule im not sure of thenamei noticed a cleargow i known thats for cool right??? i had to clean some offto remove all the dirt. but i not sure if i took to much off . can anyone tell me what that gow is can i get more at autozone or peepboys?

[&:] thats the ignition module and the goo is to transfer the heat to the dist housing. it is special stuff probably found at electronic stores, wouldnt count on the local shop to carry it

 

its called Dyelectric grease.
