Problems w/ '98 V6 camaro
 

My '98 V6 has recently had a new radiator installed... but I'm still having problems. The tempature gauge jumps around usually getting very hot and the heater only blows out cold air. I can hear the fan come on so I know that is working.Right before the new radiator was installed I had everything flushed and cleaned, filters replaced, new water pump, etc... I need to get a smog soon and I'm scared it's not going to pass! help! Any suggestions of what could possibly be wrong would be much appreciated.

Sounds like it's air locked. Seems like mine did the same thing, and I had to fool with it by letting it get hot and opening the radiator cap to get the air to move to the resevoir tank, but mine is a v8 but the principle should be the same. You might just have to mess with it for a while.
