Problem with factory dash tachometer
Hello, I tried posting my question in the 3rd gen forum but got no replies so I'd like to try it here.
I just acquired an 88 camaro 2.8. Tach in the dash reads 4400 @ idle speed and pegs when engine exceeds 1200 rpm. Any suggestions? Can I pry my needle off and set it correctly or is there a calibration adjustment or did something fry? Thanks for any replies..
