Default Prestone Stop Leak?

I have a leak, where appears to be at the water pump's gasket

Would Prestone Stops Leaks product be any good, or would this just be okay for the radiator?

I've heard some mixed opinions

dont use stop leak. fix the problem and be done with it. stop leak can lessen the effectiveness of your radiator and heater core and will only mask the problem for a short time. we used to use horse pucky in our beaters in the 70s and it worked just as long as stop leak. flushed out of the system better too. lol. did allot of stupid things then but it sure was fun. if its just the gaskets try re torquing the bolts down they may be lose. if not u may want to consider a new water pump if your taking it out anyways. look at the hoses that are close to the water pump to make sure the water isnt coming from them and draining down to the pump.

What year, engine Camaro are we talking about here? Easier to diagnose the problem. Oh and mr craby is %100 correct. In the end you'll have to fix it anyway so why not do it right the first time and save the time and money?

Check the weep hole on the bottom of your water pump. It may have pumped it's last pump.
