Yes, Ram Air would be another form of air induction so the lid would be replaced.

As for the resonator/baffle...

For your and my car (angled TB) ours is right behind and attached to the radiator shroud, the big, funny shaped plastic tub. This basically acts as a resonator for the air intake to make it quieter. By removing the resonator, and the constricitve tubing the stock air intake consists of, and replacing w/ smooth bending, large diameter tubing, the air movement for the intake to the tb is less restricted...

Thanks for the website, I'll have to check those out. I'd definitely like to do my research and know what I'm getting and doing to my engine before I do it. Do you have any messengers Dkap? like aim or yahoo? I'd like any help you might be able to offer so I don't start screwing up my engine. Thanks

The ram air I'm talking about I did for free, a custom job with a complete tutorial on how to do it from www.installuniversity.com You f-body owners should check it out, its got some pretty useful stuff on there
