Next Upgrade Suggestions!
 

I own a 2002 Z28. It already had an aftermarket exhaust and a k&n air filter when I bought it.

The only thing I've done is add ram air to it.

The next thing I plan on getting is the SLP lid and smooth bellows...

Any and ALL suggestions are welcome for my present plans and what I should get next, thanks!

well.. it isnt performance, but.. z06 rims! or some c5 rims..lol, i love them..

I don't know what/how much exhaust you have but I'd recommend...

Headers, High Flow Cat, Cat-Back, SLP CAI (like you mentioned), Aluminum Driveshaft, MSD Ignition...

What kind of headers and cam would you guys recommend??? and how much and where could I get each of these? I was also thinking a nice cam would be great. I'd love for my car to sound like drag racer! :)

you can try www.superchevy.com they might have what you are looking for.

but before you buy anything do your research, almost everything you buy will effect how your car will run in different ways especally a cam

a cam will effectin what range (rpm)your car will run. If you get to steep of a cam you will need to change other things in your car.

Okay people, I'm just going to bite the bullet and admit how much of a noob I am. Be gentle. I haven't done any modding (and don't plan to particularly...)

So it had a K&N Air filter to begin with,and you ditched thatfor the lid (how much advantage does the lid have?) Also, I read about the SLP lid and saw that it "eliminates the stock restrictive baffles and resonator assembly." Where are these present in the stock intake assembly and why are they bad?

Also, ifyou went ram air,(I'm a noob, not sure exactly what I'm asking), wouldn'tthat make the lid useless and you'd be ditching yet another method of air induction? Do you just not care or do I misunderstand terminology and things' purposes?
