Newbie here in need of help!!
 

I have an 86 sport coupe with the 2.8 MPI its been converted to an IROC all but the drivetrain... my problem.. its been running great but this mornig i drove thru maybe the worst rainstom!! i got to work shut it off all was fine. when i went to leave,it started having a miss right away..i have for along time had a piece of black tape over the light because of an egr issue... i limped it home and pulled the tape only to see it was flashing..fast. still running with a miss. like a coil wire being pulled off every 2 seconds..i had the ignition modual checked all is good.. now once it cooled down it idles ok at first then every few secs. the tac drops and the light flickers with the drop of rpms...accerating it acts as if it has a cough. every time it does it the light comes on..just for that second....with no codes!!"..pleas help!
