Default Need these cam specs

Ok so I want roller rockers, and while Im in there I might as well replace the valve springs/shims etc

Only thing is, I need the cam specs or w/e to know how big of shims I need.

Cam is TSP 231/237 .598'/.595' TSP = ???

Incase you cant tell I'm still kinda new to the whole high performance V8 scene.

Is this what you're looking for? Under "Options" look at the camshaft drop down menu.

i looked through ther lineup.... that cam is similar to mine, which is a torquer v2 but not exact. maybe a torquer 1? its not a 3, and i believe the torquers are the 23x range of duration, where magic sticks are 240s.

anyways, what shims are you talking about? there arent any shims in the valvetrain. you have the cam, the lifters, the rods, the rocker, the retainer, locks, seat, seal, and spring. are you talking about rods? just get the 7.400" rods. I spoke with tsp when I did my cam. It seemed to me since the base circle was smaller you need a longer rod, but apparently not. they told me to use stock length rods and when i had it all bolted back up nothing was loose.

Maybe shim wasn't the right word, Spec.... Spacer perhaps? They're right under the spring and look like a washer.

thats the seat. they are a part of the spring kit, at least mine were. no oneed to match to the cam as they just act...well, you said it, as a washer. spring just sits on them.

i didnt do any of that...... just got a patriot valve spring kit.

i dont think ur doing anything radical enough to justify changing spring install height

[&:] thats getting to be kinda racey race stuff that has to do with installed spring height, seat pressure, and lbs at various spring compression heights. all necessary info to the elaborate rodder but seems a bit complicated for the amateur. can we say cam and or roller rocker package from a reputable source. this will certainly help avoid unnecessary confusion and work on your part as they have done this r & d for you kurt
