Need Help ASAP

I need to get the wiring for my 350 TBI swap into my 73 Camaro done by next sunday. I need to find out what the wires on the 350 TBI bulkhead (engine side, not interior side) are so that i can connect them to the camaros harness which is a 1975 camaros harness. i took the engine side of the camaros bulkhead off and took the interior wires that connected to it off so i can connect them to the 350 tbi bulkhead, and i need to find out what each of these wires are. if i dont get this wiring done then i am screwed.

RE: Need Help ASAP

Go buy two wiring diagrams. One for the 75 and one for wherever you got the 350TBI from.

Then start comparing and rewiring. It will be a challenge because obviously there wasn't a FI engine in a 73 Camaro that now has a 75 harness. Why a 75 harness in there? With three different monsters being made into one expect gremlins at the begining.

The easier way would be to by a painless harness to rewire the engine bay and car.

I put a 350 TBI into an 87 El Camino that was carbed. It was no biggy. I also had alldata for both vehicles to look at.

ok, i will try to find a book for the car and engine. the wiring wont be hard at all, i just need to know whats what.

there is a 75 wire harness in it because the previous owner wanted full gauges and a super coil or something, i dont know why he did it.

RE: Need Help ASAP

after numerous hours of trying to find the wire info, i so far have been unsuccessful. i have checked in numerous chiltons, auto manuals, websites, and forums but havnt found anything useful for the TBI harness.

Now im resorting to my last option. Im going to spend $375 for a Painless TBI Wiring Harness. Damn things are expensive but will greatly help.

Ihave used those. you may find that as you run the harness it will be a short/tight fit in some areas. But it may take away a lot of head ache.
