Default manufactured in Canada???

Hi
I am new here.
I have a 2000 camaro.
I was checking the vin # on carmax.com.
It said that it was manufactured in Canada.
Was that a miss print?
Thank you.
Sam

All the 4th gen "F" cars were made in Canada. Now you can brag that you are driving an import. LOL

I love how people always ***** about imports lol. The big 3 might be outsourcing, but all the profits still stay within the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! Then these panzies think that Honda and Suzuki are better just because they are manufactured in American. When you buy one of those cars, the major profit goes back over seas pumping money out of our economy. If you ask me we're digging our own grave buying foreign cars.

Sure. Assuming there is a profit being made, of course. Then, there's the stockholders (possibly some foreigners) that get a dividend as well. Then again, profit also goes into investment. Like GM investing in a plant to make engines in China.

How many plants has GM opened in the US as of late?

Word.

You don't have worry about that Candanian plant that assemblied 4th gen Camaro/Firebirds, GM closed it like all other the F-Body assembly plants.[sm=americanasmiley.gif]
