ls1 hesitating

I have a 98 camaro. It started to hesitate pretty bad recently. It does it after 2,000 rpm or after first gear. First i thought it was the transmission. Now i dont think it is. The check engine light did come on and gave me PO 131, 151, 137, and 157 which says low voltage. I did take off all 4 02 sensors. I've been driving w/ out them for about 4 months now. It did get a code in the past that cylinder 3 was misfiring. I check the coil pack and spark plus and look fine... any suggestions what i can check or do?? thanks

Why did you take off the O2 sensors? The Pre-cat O2 sensors are vital for the car to successfully determine how much fuel to add with the injectors. You're forcing your car to run in open loop mode, meaning it's running of the MAP and preset fuel tables. You need to get O2 sensors back in there!

yea ima put them back on... do you think that will cause hesistation? or most likely its something else?

this will definitly do it. also, you will probably want to change all of ur spark plugs now. all of the SD maps ive seen are just pig rich, so you have probably fouled up ur plugs something fierce. this could also cause ur misfire. get ur O2s back in there, change plugs (which is a pain in the arse btw), and be nice to it for awhile.

if your cylinder is misfiiring, its most likely a bad spark plug. you should do a compression test to see which one is the bad one

RE: ls1 hesitating

how often do you leak through the spark plug? [&:]

huh are you asking me that?

ya, a compression check wont tell you if you have a bad spark plug unless the spark plug is seriously messed up, which you could tell visually. compression checks are more for blown rings or head gaskets, something thats going to allow compressed air to escape the chamber

i always knew it was for all three, sparks, rings, and head gaskets, but i guess i was wrong. But a compression test wont be bad for the other two, because one of the causes of a cylinder misfire is low cimpression due a blown head gasket. As much as I know.

just due to what the OP said, i would really bet plugging in the o2's would fix it. speed density is nasty on an untuned car.
