Im buyin Ford Parts!
 

I made brief mention in LTE about this, but i took his car to the gas station the other day to pick up ice.... the thing is, i get used to the power im making too quickly and i get paranoid that something is off, because to me my car starts to feel slow. I sit there on the throttle thinking to myself "self, should you be reaching redline a little faster than this?". So i know how fast a mach1 is, i decided to get on it. the thing definitly has torque, and the crappy bald tires didnt help it much as TRAC kept coming on to spoil the fun, but after it would let go and I was at the "Mercy" of this DOHC 4.6l, i had time to think to myself "Self, HOLY CRAP!

























This car is SLOW!!!!!"


I made mention of it to the GF who confirmed, she could feel an almost obnoxiously noticable difference in the way my car pulled vs this stock Mach1.


So anywho, its my dads birthday, and I decided to get him something to liven up his Mach1.Im pretty much broke, but i want to get him playing with his car a little, hes a surgeon so hes got the money to do bad things to that car if i can just get the bug in him lol. I think im going to just go with magnaflow weld ins, but i really dont wanna spend 80 bucks each. anyone know a cheap place to get name brand mufflers? id like to go as close to 50 bucks a piece as possible

i got him a set of magnaflow weld-ins. since u guys seem to care soooo much [>:]

i may do a before and after vid just for funsies. order was just put in with jegs, and well see how long it takes to get here.

i care spect but i was about to looking online and post somthing but then i got to thinking...i dont have any good info and spect can use a serch function so i should probly just skip it...

check jegs and summit....also checkout the dynomax mufflers. I think they have some that may be better then the magnaflows, but not sure.

i looked at dynomax a bit, and they were quite a bit cheaper, but i decided this may be one of those "you get what u pay for" things. and i dont want alot of drone here or my dad will kick my ***. :D

Yeah, I always thought of them as cheap turbo style mufflers, but they spoke like they were made of gold in the power block TV shows. Almost got some for mine.

powerblock caters alot to old pushrods though. i mean.... u guys use glasspacks from time to time [&:]. ud get slapped in a late model pony car v8 running glass packs

They were building a new mustang, and camaro SS. Even though I have glasspacks, I would never tell anybody to get them. I have mine just for the 3 inch of nothing.
