Hey all, 95 Z28 Automatic

Trans has a shift kit and an upgraded torque converter. starts and runs fine in P or N but as soon as you put in into gear R D OD 1 2 the car dies out.

any help?

 

could be a number of things,do you have a proper tune on the computer for the upgrades ? could be a vacuum leak,or an improperly installed torque converter,too little or low transmission fluid

 

Its been running fine, i changed the rad 2 days ago, and the guy i baught the car off had to remove the trans and get a reverse drum fixed before i baught it.

I have the hypertech tune on it but i have been going back to stock a couple times as i am trying to get it past an e test.

as of right now the tune is set to stock. all of a suddun were driving and go to stop at a light and the car dies out. sounds to me like its something torque converter wise. lock up or something. runs perfect in P or N
