Haynes or Chilton?

Haynes or Chilton?
I've recently purchased my 99 Camaro and I've decided to service my own car. However, I'm an extreme car newbie so my co-workers suggested that I go purchase a Haynes or a Chilton manual but they were quite vague regarding the difference between the two. I heard that the Chilton are more thorough but I'm afraid it's going to lack pictures and "newbie friendlyness" At the same time I heard the Haynes includes alot of pictures but I'm afraid it's going to be too general and lack alot of materials.
Anyone have any suggestions on this?
EDIT: These are the two items I'm looking to purchase

RE: Haynes or Chilton?
Heh I just got both considering both were alot cheaper then what my co-workers told me it was going to be(40 for chilton and 20 for haynes.) Got both of them for $35 with S&H included. Thanks for the reply.

RE: Haynes or Chilton?
If you want reallly detailed stuff at a reasonable price, subscribe to Alldata on line manual for $20 per car per year, and you will have all the info in the 2000 page official factory manual, plus recall info, tech bulletins, and updates. I find it much more useful than either the Chilton or Haynes manuals.
