it wont give u hardly any performance, maybe a couple horsepower at the best and it will make ur car a little bit louder.

as for the SES light, get it scanned and see what the problem is.

It depends on what year your car is, if it's pre 1996 you won't have to worry about an SES light, but you may still have to worry about emissions tests depending on how they are conducted in your area.

Gutting the cat will result in a surplus of power and make the car dangerous. Hell, we should all know that by now. LOL

Depending on the State your in gutting the car will result in a shat pile of fines.

Don't ask, don't tell.

Most don't realize cutting the cat won't result in a large increase in power. There is a reason the cat is larger then the system, to allow flow while processing the exhaust. By some performance aftermarket 50 state legal and your good to go. The older, pellet style cats of the 70s and 80's did hamper the power pretty bad but those made now are very good at keeping the power levels up.

Emmision testing, if in your area, automatice failure if it's not on or gutted.

95 and later, yes, it will throw a SES light.

If your cat is rattling the "honey comb" broke loose inside. Do what you think is best to fix that problem.

Good Cats and they don't kill your wallet. I've actaully put them on as stock replacement because of the cost difference to a factory and the fitment quality to most aftermarket.

I have magnaflow cats in my Kooks system, although if you're willing to spend a bit more Random Technology cats flow the best, you loose a whopping 1 hp with a set of Random Tech cats...
