Government Cars
I found a auction that will have a 01 Camaro up for bid. The car has AT PB PS R AC PW and 97,368 miles. Would any of you who have bought a car like this suggest it?

RE: Government Cars
My opinion any goverment cars at a auction would be beat to hell and back. Unless they are giving it away at a very, very low price its your choice. Not my ideal place to look for a car.[sm=chairshot.gif]

How much are they wanting for it? Sure, it's probably been through hell... But it's an LS1. If it's priced low enough I'd go for it. Looks like you're gonna have to get a new paint job as well.

well you can obviously see it was driven by a state trooper, depending on the price i would go for it, those cars especially the special pursuit vehicles get regular maintenence all the time, that means they have a mechanic who works on those cars if the littlest thing goes wrong, it would be much better taken care of than most, probably better, the interior is the only thing i would worry about, how many people have been bleeding/puking/urinating in that back seat, and how good did they clean it up.

Those are usualy the pursuit cars. Hoods may not have been transported in them. As for being beat, Yes they get a lot of use but also a lot of maintenace. The fuzz dont want to break down while chasing a perp. The general publics autos, They can also get beat but not maintained as well as the po-po's cars. And as from some post in here there are people that think when they are behind the wheel they are playing "need for speed, Hot pursuit".
