Front Brake caliper

Default Front Brake caliper

I have a 95 camero, I was about to change the brakes and the rotors. Now I cannot find my brake removel tool that came with the car it looks like a big allen wrech. Can anyone tell what size this is so I can get another or am I stuck going to the dealer. Thanks

Dindn't know that any tools came with the car, except for the lug wrench and jack.

When I brought mine it had the tool for the brake and a headlight adjustment tool in the glove box

If you are not the original owner the previous one may of left some thing for you. But they were not stock items and if they were so important why did you lose them?

Yours is either a large allen bolt 3/8"? or a torx #35 or 40. I don't pay attention to the size so don't quote me, I just grab the one that fits. If that wrench came with your car, then it was put there by the p.o. GM wouldn't have supplied a tool like that from the factory no more than they would have supplied a brake line flare wrench.
