Fan problem, 91, 305
Hi all - thanks to all those who helped me out in my low oil pressure thread.
Next issue: my fan does not come anymore. Ever. The fan does actually spin freely when I spin it, and I have plenty of coolant. I am open to the fact that it may be the thermostat, but my money is on the fan relay. Even tho I am not that mechanically inclined, if this is easy enough, I may abe able to do the repair myself. Problem is, the Haynes manual I have does not show how to replace the fan relay. Is it that simple? lol
Any suggestions here, or other resousrces I can take a look at to see if indeed this is something I can attempt?
Thanks again!

what about when you cut the a\c on does the fan cut on?if it does not then it is probably the relay which is located behind a plastic cover by the brake booster.there will be 2 or 3 relays one will be for the fuel pump and the other for the fan.the fan is supposed to cut on automatically when the temp gets around 180 or when the a\c is on.there is a sending unit on the passenger side head that controls the fan
