disable six speed skip shift?

I have a 1994 z-28 with a 6 speed manual. Does anyone know how to disable the skip shift so it operates like a normal six speed?

Buy a CAG bypass kit from Summit or Jegs. About $35.

would the skip shift even be a problem, with putting the 6 spd in a 94, just a ?
