hey, i'm trying to find a small y-pipe and if i cant find one that i can afford i kind of wanna try makeing my own.. my dad owns a sheetmetal fabricateing factory... i think i could get pipe from him, cut it , and weld it.. but i'm 18 and i have no idea how to do that, and he wont help me cuz he thinks my ideas stink... i can weld it myself and cut it myself.. (maybe) but i just donno like... what to cut, what lengths.. etc anyone got any pointers or some helpful advice thnxxx!

 

Well get your diameter pipe. Then you'll need a pipe "template" tool. It's just a bunch of pins that contour the shape of the pipe and then mark it with a pen and then cut it out in following the template.
