i wouldnt, just because tap water will cause rust fast. the coolant prevents this

yeah, you should be, unless it gets cold at night. You need to get coolant in asap, If you can't find dexcool at the local auto store, high tale it to the nearest dealership.

mix it. i jsut have 1 gallon jug of it in my radiator, poured straight in, then ran it and kept topping it off with water. but i drained my whole system during the cam swap.

I believe it's a mix, but ask them while you're there getting it. I don't know if it's 50/50 or not.

FYI It's 50/50. 1.5Gal of DexCool and 1.5 Water should fill it for any curious minds.
