Default car wont start HELP

1 have a 86 2.6. Its my project car, anyways it was running good all this time. I just got it running good, but it was ineed of a major tune up. I replaced the wires.

anyway, it was really cold today, but it started in the morning, after about 4-5 cranks. ran fine. I parked it outside, and in the afternoon i went to start it, and it woudnt start. It sounded like it wanted to start, like it almost sounded like it would, but didnt.

I went to boost it, and since it was dark I accidently mixed the wires up, and put the negative on the positve in my camaro. Only for a sec though, cause it sparked and I quicly removed it.

My question is can mixing up the wires have caused even more damage, or what does mixing it up usually cause. and does anyone have a clue what is woring with my car, or is it just the cold weather.

By the way this car has been sitting for like 2 years, and is not a daily driver at this point.

HELP!!

Default RE: car wont start HELP

sounds like a phantom wiring issue. does the key have the resistor in there?
