brake linings
Hi,
Can anybody help! I am trying to locate the supplier of competition brake linings to suit 9inch and 10 inch drum brakes, I currently use a molded sintered iron material imported from the USA but the importer here has gone out of business, I cant make out the brand name, and the part number is also hard to read, the best I can make it out is 59T2859LASP.

RE: brake linings
Brake lines, brake linings , whats the difference?
Can you remember a name? Wagner, ebc, bendix, centric....?
Try www.summitracing.com Maybe you can e-mail them and ask about brake shoes.
( not to be confused with www.shoes.com Thats where I shop)
Also measure the width of your shoes.

RE: brake linings
Thanks Mike,
Different country different names, here brake lines are the metal or flexible pipes that run between the master cylinder and the wheel cylinders, what I am after is the friction material that is riveted or bonded to the drum brake shoes.
I dont have any idea what the brand name is, the importer used to go to the trouble of removing any branding or part no'sfrom the linings prior to sale to stop anyone from finding out where he got it from so you can see myproblem, I will try your sources, any otherInformation will be appreciated

RE: brake linings
Here linings and shoes are both used to referre to the same thing. Its like the difference between a violin and a fiddle. The difference is where you come from. I was just joking around. I know what brake lines and brake linings are.
