Default body work '93

good day. first off..i'm simple...with that in mind, i expect to get in my car and it drives. not good w/it when they break...

looking at buying a 93 w/v6. 148,000 miles. paint is faded w/clear coat coming off. has a big rust spot on driver rear quarter. small crack on windshield. window doesn't work on drivers side. driver seat looks pretty worn. friend of mine drove the car (i haven't yet) for a short time while his car was broke down and says it runs fine and is spunky. The owner has 2 newer doors and a new front bumper (plastic front i guess). wants $1,000. wondering if its worth it or not. if so, better to pay someone to replace windshield or go to junk yard and find one and do it myself. how hard is it to replace doors (looks easy enough ??about wiring) and front clip? camaro is an automatic. was originally green...doesn't look quite green now.[:'(]

thanks in advance.

just so i'm clear...most parts are interchangeable between 93 and 97. i believe it has a standard front seat. i would like to install electric. i haven't looked but the wires should be there right?

Run away from it! Look on www.autotrader.comand find a better one for that much. I know a guy that is selling one for $1500 that just needs a good waxing and the shifter lock fixed. And may be able to get it cheaper.

well if it runs good thats a plus, but 148k is a lot of miles, unless you plan on rebuilding the car, especially if it has rust i would stay away from it
