Battery Quick Disconect

I am installing a battery disconnect switch in my trunk. I've ran the posi cable from the battery to one post, then a cable from the other post will go to starter. My question is, there are 2 small wires coming out of the switch. Sounds dumb, but where do these 2 small wires go? What is their function?

I figured this would be an easy question for you pros. Not sure if it makes a difference or not, but this switch has key fobs to activate it. Would that have something to do with the 2 small wires? But still feel that they need to be hooked up somewhere, as they're not there just for looks.

I have no idea, maybe you can post a link to what switch you bought.
I drive trucks for a living and they just have a simple manual switch
Maybe for remote starting?
My daily driver Buick has remote starting a feature I really like in the cold weather so I can start and warm up the car from inside the house.

Here is a picture of one similar to it. I'm thinking they hook up to the battery, just wanted to be sure.

Yeah that's the power supply for the device.
This guy is a little long winded but explains this type of device.

lol, yeah he likes to talk. Must think he is speaking to a first grader...lol
I've been out hooking mine up now, it's a little different than that...but same principal. I'm getting closer on this project. Been on this ,68 for about 15 months now. Hopefully another 5-6 months and finish it up.

I appreciate you posting that, but I thought I was correct in where the wires went.
