Default 67 ss disk brake conversion

im looking into swapping my front drum brakes on my 67 to disk. I do not want to spend an incredible amount of money, but have a decent basic disk brake package. Also i need the conversion to work with stock rally sport rims, 14 x 6 i believe. Can anyone give me suggestions for a reasonablly priced package that will work with stock rims? thanks a lot

Where in PA are you? Are not looking for 67 factory correct? Just about all the kits require 15" rims. I will look again but few years ago when I checked all the budget kits where from the 69 Camaro/Nova and all required 15" rims.

Its your 14" rim requirment that will be the issue. Basicly all the lower end kits are the same.

If I was going to convert my car and I had GM original parts I would rebuild them before i bought one of these low end kits. You know they have done everything they can to get the price of those kits down. That most likely includes seal that are bought in bulk and may be sub par. If you rebuild the calipers you control the quality of the parts you put in.

The reason I asked where in PA you are is because this guy knows just about every aftermarket part that is out there for first Gens.

He has a show room in Lancaster.
